The Kwekwe Provincial elections which were held  on Tuesday were marred with violence and conflicts after Energy Ncube (Dhala) hired  machete gangsters popluarly known as "Maketo".

The machete gang was hired to disrupt the voting process and instill fear to Kandros supporters, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.

"The machete gangs were hired by Dhala, were people were voting in Amaveni and they were so many," Mugabe said.

Kwekwe Central officer in charge Edgar Moyo confirmed the presence of  machete gangs at polling stations in support of Dhala making voters uncomfortable.
