Woman (56) nabbed for growing cannabis

The Chipinge Criminal Investigation Department has arrested a 56-year-old woman Ararwai Chikunga from Hanganyi Village under Chief Mutema who is being charged under unlawful dealing in dangerous drugs.
Chikunga was arrested yesterday after a police tip of that she was cultivating marijuana in her garden.
At least 143 plants with an average height of 180 cm estimated to have a street value of around 2 000United States Dollars was found in her garden this Monday.
Chikunga is set to appear in court today.
