Woman in court for drug peddling

POLICE in Mudzi arrested a 40 -year-old woman who was drug peddling and dragged her to court.
Dorcas Masanga was found with 22 satchets of dagga, bethasols creams, epiderm creams and ihuprofes pills in a satchel.
She was arrested by police who were on patrol after a search.
Masanga appeared before Mutoko magistrate Elijah Sibanda on Friday and pleaded not guilty.
She told the court that she needed to secure a lawyer and the matter was postponed to April 27.
The state alleged on March 29 police were on patrol and saw the accused's satchel placed on top of a cabin which belongs to the suspect.
They approached her and enquired who the owner of the satchel was before searching it.
Upon the search they found 22 twists of dagga, 6×15 gramms bethasol cream,3×15 gramms of epiderm cream and 15×10×200 milligrams of ihuprofes pills.
