Man assaults friend over game of cards

A 26-YEAR-OLD Mudzi man was on Thursday arraigned before Mutoko magistrates courts after assaulting his friend over a game of cards.
Simbarashe Nyamuzarumbu pleaded guilty to the charge before magistrate Elijah Sibanda and was slapped with 40 000 fine.
Prosecutor Richard Mbambe told the court that on November 8 during the night Nyamuzarumbu was playing a game of cards with his friend Blessing Kaitano (28) at Nyamapanda Business Centre.
As the game progressed the two had a misunderstanding and Nyamuzarumbu become violent there by assaulting his friend with open hands.
Kaitano was injured and filed a police report before seeking medical attention.
