Machete wielding robbers pounce on Delta employee

Three unknown machete wielding robbers allegedly pounced on Delta employee and robbed him of his wallet which contained identity documents and US$300.
Itai Allan Dongo (27) was robbed at his gate while coming from the bar in the wee hours of Sunday.
Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Mundembe confirmed the case.
"We are appealing for information which can lead to the arrest of the robbers who robbed Dongo," Mundembe said.
It is alleged Dongo was robbed while trying to unlock his gate.
The robbers who were monitoring his moves pounced on him after he disembarked from his car and threatened to kill him with machetes while demanding cash.
Fearing for his life he surrendered hia wallet to them and they disappeared in the dark.
Dongo later filed a police report.
