Warrant of arrest for company director, son

A Harare magistrate has issued an arrest warrant for Francesco Marconati and his son Alessandro for failing to perform court-ordered community service.
The two were sentenced to 105 hours of community service at Inyati Police Station after being found guilty of threatening to kill Ms. Li Song, a director and shareholder of Eagle Italian Shoes and Eagle Italian Leather.
Francesco had illegally removed Ms. Li from her position in the company, replaced her with his son, and used fraudulent documents to remove her signature from company bank accounts.
On September 28, 2022, after a court session where they faced fraud and forgery charges, Francesco threatened Ms. Li, and Alessandro insulted her. The incident was witnessed by Bernadette Mukuku.
