Chicken Inn Football Club has been officially summoned to appear before the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary Committee following the controversial abandonment of their match against Scottland FC on May 23 at Rufaro Stadium.
The match was called off prematurely after Chicken Inn players protested vehemently against a last-minute penalty awarded to Scottland FC, which sparked tensions on the field.
The Gamecocks now face a range of charges, reportedly including disorderly conduct by both players and officials, among other possible violations.
The club is scheduled to attend the disciplinary hearing on June 26, where they will respond to the allegations brought against them by the PSL.
