Stone misses target, kills wrong man

Police in Nyanga have arrested 24-year-old Innocent Bore in connection with a fatal incident that occurred on September 24, 2025, at Mangondoza Business Centre.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Bore was involved in a confrontation with another individual when 17-year-old Silas Kapanyota attempted to intervene and stop the fight. During the altercation, Bore allegedly threw a stone intending to strike his opponent but missed, hitting Kapanyota on the head instead.

The teenager suffered severe injuries and died while being transported to the hospital. Bore remains in police custody as investigations continue.
