BULAWAYO - The 2025 edition of the Mine Entra Expo has commenced at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) grounds in Bulawayo, attracting participation from over 240 exhibitors across the mining, engineering, transport, and construction sectors.
The Ministry of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting Services confirmed the figures via its official X account, noting that the expo is running under the theme "Beyond Extraction: Sustaining the Future of Mining."
Government spokesperson Nick Mangwana echoed the announcement, stating that the industrial showcase - which ends on Friday - provides a strategic platform for stakeholders to network, forge partnerships, and tackle key operational challenges.
"The Expo is bringing together players from the mining, engineering, transport and construction sectors to network, forge partnerships and discuss key challenges affecting their operations," Mangwana posted.
Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Winston Chitando, also toured the exhibitions and commended the sector's rapid growth, citing value addition and beneficiation as key drivers of progress.
"By early next year, there'll be production of lithium sulphate among other notable initiatives in the mining sector," Chitando said.
Mine Entra continues to serve as Zimbabwe's premier mining and engineering showcase, aligning with Vision 2030 goals and the country's broader industrialisation agenda.
