Step father jailed 60 years for rape

Crime does not pay, Bhekimpilo Ndlovu is now languishing in prison after he was sentenced to 60 years behind bars by Bindura regional magistrate for rape.
Ndlovu was convicted by magistrate Elisha Singano after he raped his eight year step daughter four times on different occasions.
Prosecutor Clever Nyapfani told the court that sometime in August, Ndlovu was left in custody of the minor when he threatened to axe her before raping her in the kitchen.
On the second the complainant was in the kitchen lighting up the fire when he was called by Ndlovu to his bedroom.
She refused, and he followed her in the kitchen, carried her to his bedroom, and raped her.
On third account Ndlovu came to where the complainant was playing with her friends and took her to his room before raping her.
On September 24 he raped her for the fourth time and the matter came to light when the complainant told her friend who then told her mother about the abuse.
