Thief steals dried meat at teacher's cottage

A man from Mangwe District has landed in trouble after allegedly breaking into a teacher’s cottage and stealing dried meat along with other items.

Devine Ncube appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware, who remanded him in custody to October 27.

Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi told the court that on October 10 at around 8am, Ncube broke into Mabunga Primary School and proceeded to one of the teachers' houses.

He allegedly stole dried meat, a power bank, and a cellphone.

A police report was filed, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
