HARARE – Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Torerayi Moyo has publicly expressed heartfelt gratitude to his wife, Professor Moyo, for her unwavering care and compassion during his father’s long illness.
Posting on his official X account, Moyo paid tribute to his wife’s strength and dedication in looking after his late father, Baba Ngidhi Moyo.

He described her as a “pillar of love and resilience,” saying she cared for his father not as a daughter-in-law, but as a true daughter—bringing him comfort, dignity, and peace in his final days.
As a token of appreciation, Moyo gifted her US$1,500, clarifying that it was not a payment but a gesture of thanks for her selfless devotion.
“No amount of money can ever equal the love and sacrifice she gave,” he said. “You have honoured our family name, and I am eternally grateful to walk this life with you by my side.”
