Varakashi4ED Mashonaland West has congratulated residents of the province for recording one of the highest levels of participation in the ongoing CAB3 Parliamentary Public Hearings, through both physical attendance and written submissions presented before Parliament.
In a press statement issued on 15 May, the organisation said the achievement was highlighted by Mary Mliswa during an inter‑district meeting held in Chegutu, where she spoke on behalf of provincial chairman Levison Chambati.
The group commended citizens across the province for what it described as overwhelming support for the constitutional amendment process.
"The massive turnout and overwhelming written submissions on CAB3 clearly demonstrate the province's strong support for the constitutional amendment process and the people's commitment to actively participating in national governance matters," the statement read.
Varakashi4ED Mashonaland West said the province had once again shown why it remains one of the strongest bases for Zanu PF, citing high mobilisation, strong participation and consistent support for government programmes.
According to the statement, the high level of engagement reflects growing public appreciation of the importance of CAB3 and its role in aligning national development aspirations with Vision 2030 under President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The organisation also applauded party structures, youths, women, community leaders and other stakeholders who mobilised communities across the province to take part in the hearings.
"The province's outstanding participation sends a clear message that the people of Mashonaland West remain fully committed to constitutional engagement, national unity and the continued development of Zimbabwe," the statement said.
