The Zimbabwe Republic Police have confirmed the 12 names of the Domboshava road accident victims.
The horrific accident occurred near Hatcliffe on Sunday.
The deceased are Tawanda Chakoma, Isabel Kanekanza (31) of 819 Shandaiwo Street St Marys, Rose Chaateya (75) of 16001 Zengeza Chitungwiza, Nyasha Chakoma (38), Mercy Togara (2), Paida Semba (45) of Old Tafara Harare, Clifford Kanamanyanga (21) of St Marys Chitungwiza, Sarah Chinyoka (30), Temptation Dzamunetsa (33), Makanakaishe Dzamunetsa (8), Matidaishe Dzamunetsa an infant aged 1, Mazviita Dzamunetsa (6) all of 7 Rutendo Street Zengeza 3.
13 people were in the Range Rover and only a 15 year old boy has survived and has since been discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, a sombre atmosphere engulfed Chitungwiza as several families mourned victims of the Domboshava road accident.
Relatives of the Chakoma family in Chitungwiza Unit M weathered the overcast conditions to mourn Nyasha Chakoma, Tawanda Chakoma, Rosy Dzvairo and toddler Mercy Togara, all members of the same family who perished in the accident.
Relatives said the tragedy has robbed them as 38 year old Nyasha Chakoma was taking care of orphaned relatives in Hwedza.
Members of the Chakoma family will be buried in Chakoma village in Hwedza as soon as burial arrangements have been finalised owing to financial challenges in purchasing coffins and burial provisions.
In St Mary's, the Kanamanyanga family was grieving over the loss of a son Clifford Kanamanyanga, a soldier by profession, who was planning on paying the bride price for his long time girlfriend at the end of this month.
On Sunday, 12 people, including the driver, who were travelling in a Range Rover died following a head on collision with an AFM in Zimbabwe Sunningdale Assembly bus.
