Jonathan Moyo is reckless and irresponsible

Opposition MDC has described Ministers Jonathan Moyo and Patrick Chinamasa as being irresponsible over remarks that ZANU-PF has no intention of implementing electoral reforms that will create an environment that will ensure it loses elections.
Last Friday, Moyo told Bulawayo Press Club that the opposition was reforms that will make it easy to dislodge Zanu PF from power.
Said Moyo, "They want to say put in place electoral reforms that will ensure that you lose and we win. And we're saying no. That will never happen anywhere in a modern constitutional democracy, that a political party that has come into government on the back of a new negotiated constitution, on the back of a new negotiated Electoral Act, comes up with reforms that will reform it out of power. Because the reforms they're talking about are clear codes to say come with reforms that will ensure that you're out."
However, the comments has draw sharp criticism from Welshman Ncube led party.
Below is the full statement released Tuesday :
The MDC condemns in strongest terms the irresponsible utterances by Patrick Chinamasa and Jonathan Moyo over the implementation of the constitution and electoral reforms.
These statements must be seen for what they are, desperation to cling on to power at all costs by a government bereft of ideas to stop corruption, create jobs and build economic growth.
As MDC we will continue to push for the implementation of the constitution and electoral reforms until sanity prevails in our nation.
No amount of lying, misleading, manipulation will stop the citizens of Zimbabwe from demanding it.
MDC applauds the spirit of unity among opposition parties in calling for the implementation of the constitution and electoral reforms as was displayed in the banned mega demonstrations of 3 September 2016 in Harare and Bulawayo under the auspices of CODE and NERA parties.
The maturity and spirit of oneness in fighting ZANU PF misgovernance is commendable and must prevail.
We hope opposition forces continue to put aside personal differences and egos in order to defeat the one common enemy of the people of Zimbabwe, ZANU PF. It is not the time for glory and swagger, neither is it time to take from Zimbabwe, but to give so that we defeat the failed regime and free our people from the ZANU PF imposed suffering.
