Table toppers Highlanders FC travel to Kadoma to face army side Black Rhinos at Rimuka Stadium today in search of three points to edge close to grabbing the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title.
Bosso shot to the summit last Wednesday when they beat Tripple B 4-1 dislodging Dynamos who fell 2 mill to FC Platinum on the same day.Kelvin Kaindu coached side now has 44 points, two ahead of Dembare.
However, Black Rhinos are yet to lose at Rudaka and to add icing to the cake no team has managed to score against them in six games so far in Kadoma. But Bosso who seem to have reached peak form, scoring 13 goals in their past five games could breach that record.
Highlanders are aware that any slip up at this point could spell doom for them as they smell their first PSL title in six years, Rhinos on the other hand are eager to maintain their presence in the Premiership and a loss to Bosso could prove the beginning of their end.
The army side is on position 13 in the 16-team log with 27 points and nothing but a win could see their continual stay among the big boys.
Bosso seem to be on free-scoring form as they have been banging in the goals with the team seeming to have increased tempo at this crucial juncture. Highlanders' man of the moment, Njabulo "Tshiki" Ncube is likely to give Rhinos' defenders a torrid time with his razor sharp passes.
Tshiki seems to have rediscovered his form and containing the veteran striker might prove a handful for the soldiers.
Chipembere, as Rhinos are affectionately known, will, however, be mindful of the fact that they have never beaten Highlanders in the last four years they have played top-flight soccer and were also beaten 3-1 in the reserve fixture at Barbourfields by the double chasing Bosso.
Fixtures
Black Rhinos v Highlanders (Rimuka),
How Mine v Harare City (Barbourfields),
Buffaloes v Motor Action (Sakubva),
Triangle v FC Platinum (Gibbo),
Dynamos v Tripple B (Rufaro),
Shabanie Mine v Monomotapa (Maglas).
