The Mighty Warriors technical advisor Barry Daka says the players are in good shape technically and mentally ready for the tie against Tanzania in the African Nations Women's Championships on Sunday.

Zimbabwe carry a 2-1 lead after winning the first leg played in Tanzania two weeks ago.

Veteran former Highlanders coach Barry Daka who has been assisting the girls throughout the campaign explained that his role is mainly advisory but also helped the technical team led by coach Shadreck Mlauzi and Sithethelelwe Sibanda on other issues relating to fitness and other tactics.

Daka is confident the players will deliver the goods when they take on the Twiga Stars in the second leg.

Meanwhile, team doctor Dorothy Masawi has given all the players in camp a clean bill of health despite earlier concerns about star player Rudo Neshamba carrying a knock.

Coach Mlauzi is expected to announce his final 18-member team from the current 28 in camp after Friday's final training sessions.

16 year old Maud Mafuruse from Mutare side Faith Drive might become the youngest Zimbabwean player to earn a full senior national team cap if she is selected.
