Disqualified Zimbabwean housemate in DStv reality show Big Brother Stargame, Maneta Mazanhi, is angry with herself for reacting to Rockford "Roki" Josphats' provocation.
Maneta poured detergent on musician Roki's face after he poured water on her head earlier, thereby violating Biggy's no-violence rule.
In an interview from Harare, Maneta said if she were given another chance she would deal with the issue in a sensible and responsible manner.
"I felt I let my family, fans and country down. I was embarrassed," she said.
The Zimbabwean said the hour that she waited before Big Brother announced that she had been disqualified was one of the longest in her life.
She said she saw it coming as the events after their altercation were a repeat of what happened with two other housemates, Zainab and DKB. The two, who were from Sierra Leone and Ghana respectively, exited disgracefully after they also fought.
"After they fought they were sent to the glass house and the diary room and that is what happened with us.
"I knew we were going home. I also felt guilty because when I was sent to the diary room Roki was shouting my eyes, my eyes! A lot ran through my head, 'what if his eyes were damaged forever'?" she said.
The Bulawayo-born university student said she was patriotic and people were twisting her words to make her appear as if she was otherwise.
"I told Roki he was illiterate and he twisted the words saying, so you are saying Zimbabweans are illiterate? I know we have the highest literacy rate in Africa," Maneta said.
She also dismissed claims that she said she was in love with a popular Harare businessman BIG saying she was seeing her "hommie" based in South Africa.
"He is a private person and I respect his privacy, but he is from Bulawayo. He is however based in SA," said the Bulawayo beauty.
Maneta did not want to commit on when she would be coming to Bulawayo saying: "I have lots of interviews and things to tie up, as soon as I am done, I will be making my way there."
Maneta came into the country on Friday evening, a day after Roki came because her family feared for her life.
"After the threats that my family read online they felt it was not safe for me to come in the same plane with Roki," she said.
There is a general sentiment among followers of the reality show that Maneta led to the downfall of Roki.
"I saw Roki yesterday and our relationship is amicable. It was just a game; surely life has to go on.
"He proposed a collaboration on a project and we are yet to discuss that further, but I am interested," she said.
