Kariba born and bred Zimdancehall and House music sensation Thandie Kaundule affectionately known as Kaze in music circles has declared that she is ready to bloom and take Zimdance Hall to another level.

The artiste who relocated to South Africa a few years ago decided to pursue music at a tender age after discovering the voice and passion which she had for the trade and she has never looked back.

Kaze has shared stage with firebrand South African artistes such as Perpetrator and BackYard Crew and has proved to be the Queen Latifa of the now popular genre.

"I started music after discovering the voice and talent in me and since then, I haven't looked back", said Kaze.

The artiste's dream was to become a professional hunter but unfortunately the coin fell the other side and she had to take music seriously as a career. Before she opted for the mic, she worked for Tsoro River Safaris which has since fallen into the organisational dustbin.

"I dreamt of becoming a professional hunter, but because of financial challenges I dropped out of college and saw myself working as learner hunter".

"As an artiste, I got  inspired by my father who used to play banjo whilst we relaxed during the evening," she uttered .

She also gives credit to her husband and U.K based Shine Siyamkwari for the love and support she has been receiving since she started her journey to stardom

Before breaking the jinx, she worked with different producers but could not stay because of differences in musical dreams and vision.

"I have now found home in Perpetrator as he is a good producer and mentor," she said.

So much negative has been said about ZimDance hall but the artiste has vowed to cruise on and keep the flag high, she has also promised to collaborate with other Zimbabwean artiste in future for the betterment of the music industry.
