Corpse falls out of moving car

A dead body accidentally fell out of a coroner's van in Bucks County Pennsylvania, US, onto the main street after a rear door malfunction.

Bystander Jerry Bradley witnessed the corpse falling out, pulled over, took a photo and wheeled the hospital trolley to a nearby car park where the van was parked.

Mr Bradley described his first thoughts on seeing the body: 'I thought someone was playing a prank, someone is pranking people.'

'It was the most bizarre thing I'd ever seen.'

A Bucks County spokesman said of the incident: 'The Bucks County Coroner's Office deeply regrets this incident and will take steps to ensure that it is not repeated in the future.'
