Roman Catholic- run St Francis of Assisi High is once again the best O Level school in Chikomba District.

It recorded a 96.5% pass rate in the 2016 November exams which is an improvement from the 94% realized the previous year. The school harvested a total of 713 As'.

The school was on position one again last year and its pass rate is far higher than that of the district which stands at 33.4%. Last year the district pass rate stood at 31.3%.

At second position is Daramombe High school with 88.3% and this was a drop from 92.5% last year.

Kwenda High school is on third position with 86,7% which slightly dropped from 86.9% last year. St Luke Jemedza is on fourth position and dropped from 83 % passrate last year to 77.9% this year.

Wiltshire High is on fifth position with a big leap from 14% last year to 61 %. Riversdale High is on sixth position with the pass rate jumping from 40% last year to 53% this year.

Govere Secondary is the best day school in the district and is at number seven after improving its results from 27 % last year to 41.1% this year
Pimbi Secondary is on position eight after improving its results from four percent last year to 33% this year. Liebenberg is on nineth position with a leap from 23 percent last year to 32.7 percent pass rate.

Mahusvu is on tenth position with 32.4 percent passrate.Last year it had 23 percent passrate.From first position to sixth position are boarding schools and position seven to ten are day schools.
