Trucks block KZN highway in early morning protest

Trucks have blocked the busy R34 John Ross Highway from Empangeni to Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday morning.
While no violence has been immediately reported, traffic has come to a standstill near the N2 bridge.
Traffic police and other authorities are presently on scene.
Speaking to News24, one motorist said: "We have been blocked for some time now, and there is no indication of when it will open. People are outside their cars walking around."
