Growing attacks on Zimbabwe journalists

Zimbabwean media advocacy groups have expressed serious concerns over the number of growing attacks on journalists ahead of the 23 August general elections.

This comes after the recent attack on three Bulawayo journalists by Zanu-PF activists.

Zimbabwe's operating  environment is hostile to media freedom and journalists who demand answers and accountability from public officials and other people in powerful positions.
