Nelson Chamisa, the leader of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), has accused Sengezo Tshabangu, who claims to be the interim secretary-general of the CCC, of being a pawn used by Zanu-PF to disrupt the opposition from within.

Chamisa made these accusations in a recent interview, stating that Tshabangu is not a CCC member, and his actions are intended to create divisions and confusion within the party.

Furthermore, Chamisa hinted that the CCC might not participate in the upcoming December 9 by-elections, as both the announcement of the election date and the recalls initiated by Tshabangu were carried out unlawfully.

Chamisa emphasized that these by-elections were unconstitutional and criminal acts, and the CCC would not waste its time participating in them.

He alleged that Zanu-PF is behind Tshabangu's actions, aiming to distract the CCC from its demand for proper elections. Chamisa described these by-elections as "unconstitutional and criminal acts" and stated that the CCC would not participate in them.

Chamisa insisted that the CCC's primary focus was on having a proper election and a legitimate government in Zimbabwe. He emphasized the importance of peace and the difficulties faced by the opposition in Zimbabwe's challenging political landscape.

He concluded by saying that the CCC has chosen the path of peace despite the challenges, and he believes in seeking a peaceful resolution for Zimbabwe's political issues. Chamisa expressed his commitment to peaceful and non-violent means of achieving change.
