Concerns over one Beitbridge entry point as festive season rows into life

There are escalating concerns as to why there is only one Zimbabwe -South Africa entry point is one when the two nations are major trading partners yet Zimbabwe border with Zambia and Botswana has more than one entry points.
Beitbridge Council town secretary Loud Ramakgapola posted on facebook questioning the reason why SA -Zimbabwe border has only one border post.
"I am just wondering why we still have only one border post between Zimbabwe and South Africa.Mozambique-Zim border;Botswana-Zim border and Zambia-Zim border all have at least THREE border posts while with our biggest trading partner (SA) has ON," he said.
"This is one of the reasons why the Beit Bridge border post is always crowded and lots of corruption.Government should consider opening border posts at Shashe/no.16;Nottingham,Tshapongwe/Dite and Tshitulifhasi/Tshikwalakwala."
