BULAWAYO-based Dynamos supporters took time yesterday to spruce up part of the grounds at Ingutsheni Central Hospital and also donated foodstuffs to the institution.
The Dembare Bulawayo chapter also handed over groceries worth $450 comprising 250 kilogrammes of mealie-meal, 10 boxes of biscuits, 20 heads of cabbages, four tubes of sour milk and 60kgs of macaroni. The group made up of over 30 members took time to clear some of the over-grown grass that had sprouted within the hospital.
Chapter chairman Ristiko Mero said they felt motivated to assist Ingutsheni after realising the hospital was being stigmatised because it is a mental health institution.
Ingutsheni senior nursing officer David Dube expressed gratitude for the assistance rendered by the Dynamos supporters saying it will go a long way in alleviating some challenges being faced by the hospital.
