Zimbabwean author NoViolet Bulawayo has announced her second novel, titled Glory.
The new book by Bulawayo -- real name Elisabeth Zandile Tshele -- is set in the days following Robert Mugabe's ouster.
Glory is crafted like an allegory in the mould of George Orwell's Animal Farm.
Drawing richly from political satire, irony and farce, the writer manages to bring out the absurdities of autocracy in the fictional Republic of Jidada, a country caught up in the chaotic aftermath of a military coup.
