Man bashes wife over face powder

A jealous husband who did not want his wife to apply face powder ended up bashing her after she broke his rule.
Llyod Chapeyama (28) was arrested in Mutoko and dragged to court on Friday after he assaulted his wife Fiona Munyoro with open hands.
The prosecutor Nathan Majuru ordered the case to proceed by way of summons after Munyoro refused to go for a medical check-up.
According to state papers on April 27, Chapeyama arrived home and found his wife doing laundry.
He also observed that she had applied some face powder and that incensed him.
He assaulted her all over the body with open hands and she filed a police report.
