WATCH: Obert Mpofu uncovers and survives sophisticated scam

ZANU PF Secretary for Administration Obert Mpofu survived an elaborate and sophisticated financial scam which he foiled on Monday resulting in arrests being made late afternoon in Bulawayo.

Reports reaching this reporter indicate that scammers approached Obert Mpofu's company  claiming that they were working with one Dr Moses Chingwena towards distributing farming equipment in Zimbabwe.

An alert Obert Mpofu is said to have phoned  Chingwena to verify if this was true and Chingwena disassociated himself from the program.

Mpofu then tipped off the police and a trap was set resulting in arrests being made.
