A beer binge turned fatal in Karoi on Tuesday when two friends had a misunderstanding over $2.
Bonwell Mereki (24) has since been arrested after he assaulted his friend Norman Chikoka (21) on the head with a log.
Police confirmed the death of Chikoka who died upon admission at Karoi Hospital.
The duo was drinking at Gindikindi Business Centre in Kazangarare.
The police have warned people to shun violence in a bid to avoid unnecessary loss of life.
