Mandela's granddaughter dies

Zoleka Mandela, granddaughter of South Africa's anti-apartheid luminary and the country's first democratically-elected president Nelson Mandela, the late, has died of cancer.
She was 43.
Zoleka died last evening surrounded by family and friends.
"Zoleka passed away on the evening of 25 September, surrounded by friends and family. Our sincerest gratitude to the medical team that took care of her," family spokesperson Zwelabo Mandela said in a statement.
Her mother was the second daughter of South African struggle stalwarts Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
Tributes are pouring in for Zoleka from around the world.
The Mandela family is known globally.
