Shamva woman jailed for having sex with a teenager

The love of sex has landed a Shamva woman in deep trouble after she was sent to jail by a Shamva magistrate Ruramai Chitumbura today.
Mercy Mandaza (32) was sentenced to 18 months in jail for having sex with a minor.
Prosecutor Munyaradzi Nengomasha told the court that sometime in September last year Mandaza lured a seventeen year old boy into her bedroom.
When the boy entered the bedroom Mandaza undressed and gave the complainant a condom and the two had sex.
The matter came to light on January 4 when the minor told her mother about the abuse and the matter was reported to the police leading to the arrest of Mandaza.
