Quartet nabbed over snooker dispute

Failure to control temper has landed four in custody after they assaulted their colleague with a snooker stick

Thabo Ncube (28), Musawenkosi Moyo (27), Mplilo Tshuma (30), and Zwelibanzi Ncube (33) were remanded in custody until September 22 by Magistrate Joshua Nembaware. 

Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi told the court that on September 11 at a local bar, the suspects had a misunderstanding with Mayobodo Thabo over snooker.

They took turns to assault the complainant, and he tried to run away.

Thabo was severely assaulted with a snooker stick all over the body and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
