Busisa Moyo conferred with Honorary Doctorate

Prominent industrialist and business leader Busisa Moyo has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Business Leadership by the National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

Moyo, who chairs the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), has over 25 years of experience in business and industry. He is the Chief Executive Officer of United Refineries and serves as Chairperson of several key boards, including the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency (ZIDA), the Oil Expressers Association of Zimbabwe, and Bitumen World (Pty) Ltd.

Throughout his career, he has also held senior positions at Barclays Bank and Aon Zimbabwe, contributing significantly to the country's financial and industrial sectors.

Academically, Moyo holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Science and an Executive MBA, complemented by further studies at the University of Chicago. His leadership and policy influence extended to government, where he previously served on President Emmerson Mnangagwa's Presidential Advisory Council on business and economic matters.

NUST's recognition of Moyo underscores his distinguished contribution to Zimbabwe's economic development and his role in shaping industrial growth and investment.
