Teen remanded over blanket, shoe theft

A 19-year-old man from Plumtree has been remanded in custody after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing blankets and shoes.
Prince Moyo appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware, who ordered his detention until November 6.
According to prosecutor Sheila Nyathi, the incident occurred on October 24 at midnight when Moyo unlawfully entered the bedroom of 68-year-old Yege Moyo and stole several items.
The following morning, the complainant traced footprints from the scene to the accused’s residence, leading to a police report and subsequent arrest.
