Zanu-PF burning ahead of congress

The movers and shakers in Zanu-PF's factional fights are living in constant fear in the wake of escalating incidents of violence in several parts of the country.

The paper says tensions are currently high across party structures in arguably the ugliest infighting to grip Zanu-PF since its formation in 1963.

The Mnangagwa faction which is said to have seized control of internal party processes has largely succeeded in rooting out their rivals from positions of influence.
