Mthwakazi angered by Bosso participation in Bob @92 tourney

Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) has expressed anger over the Highlanders Football club's participation in the Bob@92 tournament at the time when it is clear that people's suffering were due to President Robert Mugabe's reneging to eave power prompting economic crisis.
The party' spokesperson Mbonisi9 Gumbo said MRP was very disappointed by the participation of Highlanders Football Club in tournament like the so called BOB @92.
"It is important for Zanu PF and its bootlickers to learn to distinguish between a party programme and government projects. ZIFA leaders should also respect people in this country and also understand the difference between ZIFA business and Zanu PF political gimmicks," he said. "It is wrong for ZIFA to hold the country at ransom by pretending that Zanu PF programs are National programs. The politicising of soccer is uncalled for, and totally misplaced. We find it strange that ZIFA with all the debts that it has, will find capital to fund a Zanu PF Project? Why would they go an extra mile in funding Zanu PF political gimmick disguised as a National tournament?"
He said in as much as Robert Mugabe is Zimbabwean President he still remains a Zanu PF member.
"It's his party business to promote him using their party's resources not national resources because it's abuse of power. Mthwakazi Republic Party would like to call upon Highlanders Football Club to refuse to be used by Zanu PF as a political tool especially considering the Club's History and that of its founders, and supporters," he said. "Highlanders Football Club was used to campaign for Tshinga Dube during last year's By Elections in which Tshinga Dube a Zanu PF Member contested and won as a Member of Parliament for Makokoba Constituency. During this period Tshinga Dube took the opportunity to gather hoodwink the people by pretending to be handing Highlanders a bus. Dube; used his longtime association with the club as a supporter and a sponsor to fullfill his Zanu PF political ends."
Gumbo said he went to pay the duty and clearance of the Bus, turned the handover ceremony of the bus into a Zanu PF Rally attended by Emmerson Mngangagwa, who was also a Guest of Honour at the function.
"We are aware that Highlanders football club is currently in debt, but that doesn't translate to careless and political induced decisions; to the extent of accepting & being used as political pawn by Zanu PF. It remains a fact that Highlanders is one of the most respected Institutions in Mthwakazi and we expect the Leadership of the club to understand that," he said. Therefore we find it strange that Bosso Team Leadership can allow Mnangagwa a monster who master minded the genocide that left more than 30 000 thousand of our people dead in Mthwakazi to preside over such a function?"
He said it is also strange that Mugabe the Chief instigator of Gukurahundi who presided over the Creation of the 1979 Grand Plan can be celebrated by us Mthwakazians or by Highlanders Football club which is also a victim of his tribalism-induced-genocide and saboteur of our infrastructure through his feared North Korean Trained 5th brigade Army.
"Lastly but not least we find it difficult to grasp the fact that what if Bosso ngenkani ezikamagebhula wins this Tournament where will it be kept? And can we as Bosso funs celebrate that? This is ridiculous, scandalous and totally unacceptable to Mthwakazi," Gumbo said.
"If Bosso is fund raising as some has suggested its better they don't win such a shameful Trophy. In future we appeal to Mthwakazi people to boycott such games especially if they are paid for, how can we support the Team in such a shameful Tournament this is disgusting to say the least? What is so special about Mugabe that we can celebrate today?"
He said this man has brought misery to Mthwakazi, he is responsibly of Gukurahundi genocide that left more than 30 000 people dead, thousands more injured, and millions homeless so what is so specially about such a man's birthday?
"Our people are suffering with unemployment levels being at 95percent. Our people are poor, some have resorted to risking lives crossing the crocodile infested Limpopo River in search of greener pastures in South Africa which they are denied back home by Mugabe's Regime. We can't be part of Mugabe's celebrations of 36 years of misrule and we wish Highlanders management to open their eyes and stop/refuse being used against us its supporters," he said.
