Rapist caught sleeping at crime scene wearing a condom

Lady Luck did not smile on Qubekani Nyathi, who allegedly fell asleep wearing a condom shortly after raping a mentally ill woman.
The case came to light at the Plumtree Magistrates' Court on Friday, where the 32-year-old suspect appeared before Magistrate Mr. Joshua Nembaware.
The State, led by Selestine Madziwa, alleged that on December 17 last year, Nyathi raped the complainant and fell asleep at the scene immediately afterward.
He was discovered the following morning, sleeping next to the complainant, half-dressed, with a condom still on his manhood.
Nyathi has been remanded in custody until January 31.
