Filabusi commissions fire tender as new firefighters join local ranks

Filabusi witnessed a boost in its emergency response capacity this week with the commissioning of a new fire tender, coinciding with the arrival of newly graduated firefighters from Bulawayo.

The graduates, who completed their training earlier in the week, were warmly welcomed by officials from the Insiza Rural District Council (RDC) and other dignitaries during a ceremony that underscored the region's commitment to strengthening disaster preparedness and public safety.

The event marked a significant milestone for Filabusi, as the addition of both equipment and skilled personnel is expected to enhance firefighting capabilities across the district.
