Mugabe, Zanu-PF in their own world
19 Mar 2018 at 06:39hrs | Views
The people of Zimbabwe have had enough of Zanu pf yet the party claims they are the answer to the country, s economic woos. Mugabe, in power for 37 years, says he ought to be in power. Both these statements show that Zimbabweans are dealing with delusional people.
Zanu pf has been in power since 1980 with the former brutal dictator, Robert Mugabe at the helm. While they claim to have done well the results are there for all to see. ..roads are now deathtraps along major highways, industries are a pale shadow of what they were like when they assumed power, hospitals have broken down equipment and stories come of health personnel helping themselves to ARVs which they sell to chicken breeders, our education system has been reduced to such a low level. This is what they have done since coming from the bush war we are reminded of whenever they feel under threat from opposition. They sing blood chilling songs at their gatherings and vow the country will never be a colony again.
The masters of destruction want to be builders as well, this is impossible. Destroying is so easy but rebuilding is a mammoth task. How does Zanu pf plan to rebuild this once beautiful nation?Populist policies never serve anything except to those saying them who even wonder at they say to the people and the people believe them. It is called politics of the stomach, hungry citizens will, after being overfed then supplied with opaque beer, say and are willing to do what the chefs want. You can be killed for supporting another party other than Zanu pf which is more of a cult.
I never in my entire life expected to see people openly joking about the fallen dictator. He was an icon we were told, he was God, s chosen we were made to believe. Obert Mpofu could even sign his letters your obedient son! How the mighty have fallen. After being removed from the office he had occupied since 1980 he comes out now saying total hogwash.Mugabe takes people's forgiveness for stupidity. For starters this man should be at ICC downing prison garbs not those jacket and tie outfits he is so fond of. He led the Gukurahundi in trying to exterminate the Ndebele speaking people together with the Junta now running the country.
The Junta through its poster man, "man in town" are selling people a dummy. We are told investors are eager to invest in Zimbabwe. Zanu pf in all its election campaign lied to the people in order to remain in power. The former President moved from province to province saying 2-5 million jobs would be created. How they expected to achieve this must have been a top secret because this reckless talk never came to fruition, actually the opposite happened. People continued to lose jobs as the remaining industries shut down thanks to the Zanu pf scorched policies. Mugabe, now expelled from Zanu pf thinks Zanu pf can only be replaced by his proxy, someone who shares his views of mastering how to destroy an economy. bZanu of, Mugabe's surrogate parent thinks it can turn around the economy! No one knows how they plan to achieve this.Zimbabwe needs a new leader without a tainted past. Zimbabwe, this needs to get into their heads, bis not Zanu pf property like they want to say. It belongs to the Zimbabwean people who have a right to chose who to lead the country.
Elections are held regularly but they are not free at all. If they were free and fair this cult could have been booted out way back.Abusing state resources they have used the Security structures to brutalize the populace. The CIO, behaved like a security wing for Zanu pf yet they are mandated to watch over national security. The tables however have turned since the Junta takeover.
Mugabe and whoever is representing you note that you no longer wanted. Zanu pf it is the same, maybe your votes will will come from chiefs who received cars from you and their families. At his age please start writing your memoirs or teach on how to be a dictator to fellow African leaders who claim to love you for l have noted Edgar Lungu from Zambia.
The only way for Zimabwe to do well is by first removing this goblin called Zanu pf.This is it, now or never.
