Johannersburg - Former president Nelson Mandela's ex wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, has been taken to an undisclosed hospital, her daughter said in a statement on Saturday night.
"She will undergo surgery on Monday," said Zindzi Mandela.
She said her mother fell down on Thursday and broke her right wrist.

She asked that the family's privacy be respected.
