Russian presidential special representative for cooperation with African countries Mikhail Margelov will discuss prospects of a Libyan peace settlement with the leaders of Zimbabwe, Angola, Sudan and Ethiopia in the course of a working tour to Africa from July 4 to July 11.
"The main topic to discuss with the African leaders or their representatives will be the Libyan record and the development of bilateral relations," Margelov said on Monday.
Libya has been rocked with anti-Gaddafi protests since mid-February. The international military operation began on March 19 following a UN resolution and was extended until late September.
Margelov will meet with Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe, Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and with Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi.
