Zanu PF ward 17 Vice Chairperson Tendai Kangora reportedly disrupted a development meeting held at Kurima Nursery School through chanting party slogans and trying to turn it into a political meeting.
This was revealed by a Human Rights Watchdog Heal Zimbabwe Trust in its weekly report.
"On February 23, Zanu PF Ward 17 Vice Chairperson, Tendai Kangora disrupted a developmental meeting at Kurima nursery school by chanting Zanu PF slogans and attempting to turn the gathering into a party meeting," the trust reported.
"The meeting was being addressed by Headman Nelson Kurima and it sought to offer community members an opportunity to discuss the financial challenges that were being faced by Kurima nursery school."
The trust said as the meeting was going on, Kangora started chanting Zanu PF slogans and announced that all those who were boycotting Zanu PF meetings were not going to receive food aid.
"The meeting momentarily came to a stand-still as Kangora continued sloganeering. Headman Kurima then called off the meeting citing that the meeting he had called for was not a political meeting and rebuked Kangora for sloganeering," said the trust.
