International Veteran Actor joins the Welshman Ncube led MDC

Ernest Ndlovu yesterday met in Johannesburg with the MDC South African leadership to get his first MDC membership card.

Ernest Ndlovu is a Zimbabwean actor based in South Africa best known for his role as Vukani Khoza, father to Zamani and Ajax, in the South Africa's most loved and watched sopie Generations that plays every week day on SABC 1.

He has acted in numerous television series including Egoli, African Skies, Going Up, Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, Justice for All, Home Affairs, Sokhulu and Partners, Angel, Okavango, Rhodes, Soul City, Madam & Eve, Charlie Jade, Scandal!, Izingane zoBaba and Crusoe.

Feature films he has acted include A Dry White Season, The Endangered, Ipi Tombi, Beat the Drum, Primeval, Dark City, Rutanga Tapes, The Fourth Reich, I Dreamed of Africa, African Story, Whiskey Echo and Lethal Force.

He played the role of Minister of Home Affairs in the second season of the SABC2 drama series 90 Plein Street, in 2009.

Contacted for comment one of the leaders that met Ernest, the Secretary of the MDC South Africa Sipho Ndlovu said "We welcome Ndlovu to the MDC family, his joining of the party shows that people now fully understand the fact that MDC led by Professor Welshman Ncube is the route to a free a fair Zimbawe."

" We are looking forward to working with him and use his experience, expertise and influence as an actor for the cause of the people of Zimbabwe" Said Sipho Moyo

The jovial Youth Leader Shephard Dube Said "It is with greatest joy, that we receive a new member in to our terrain, the people's party. Counter revolutionaries may try to deter us but the people of Zimbabwe are fast understanding our fight for a free, fair and just Zimbabwe."

"Ndlovu will easily blend with our party because he is by nature a leftist, and the MDC is a disciplined force of the left. We believe that he will woo more Zimbabweans in to the people's party for the greater good of the people of Zimbabwe."
