After the Zimbabwean government sent its Police Internal Security and Intelligence Unit to raid, search and confiscate papers, the Central Processing Unit (CPU) of a computer and a memory stick from Mzilikazi II and briefly arresting him and taking him to the Central Police station in Bulawayo, reliable sources indicate that he has been released after hours of this harassment.

Mzilikazi II is due to have his coronation on the 12th of September 2017. Ever since he announced his coronation date, the media and Police and Intelligence services of Zimbabwe have gone on the overdrive in their threats against his person.

12 days ago, the Police and Intelligence officers invaded his home. 4 police cars and 2 cars from the intelligence organization are reported to have invaded his home.

Before being raided by the police, Mzilikazi II has faced an onslaught and threats of arrests from Zimbabwean government officials for pushing for the Restoration Agenda.

The government owned papers continue to sharpen their knives against him devoting acres of space of his vilification by a section of the Khumalo family who have publicly disowned him and at the same time publicly acknowledged that he has been working with them as a Khumalo in the revival of the Kingship issue since efforts to identify iNkosi were started by the Khumalo Royal Family.

The arrest today has caused an outcry from Mthwakazi people who feel that the government of Zimbabwe continues to go to the extremes to test their patience by persecuting their leaders.

Reliable sources also indicate that a couple of hours before this arrest, Mzilikazi II had been put under pressure to give way to Prince Bulelani Collins Lobhengula to take over the Kingship by a prominent religious leader of Mthwakazi who is a Reverend who had been sent by the group that is pro- Prince Bulelani taking over as the King of uMthwakazi.

The Mzilikazi Team maintain that 12th of September 2017 date for Mzilikazi II's coronation remains firmly in place and they are expecting thousands of people to throng the Arena to come and witness this day. The venue has been set as a ZIFT Main Arena, just on the edge of the City of Bulawayo, along the Hillside Road.
