2 injured in road accident

Two people were injured when a Honda Fit vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and jumped over a culvert before landing on its right side near Zuva Petroleum depot in the Gadzema area in Chinhoyi along the Chinhoyi Chegutu highway.
The accident occured as the driver of the Honda Fit tried to overtake a vehicle which was apparently turning right at an intersection.
Upon realising the vehicle ahead was turning right, the driver of the Honda Fit panicked and lost control of his car, which then veered off the road and narrowly missed falling into a water drain after flying over it.
The scene of the accident is a high accident rate zone.
