WAR Veterans in Mashonaland Central province have threatened to impound a vehicle being used by ZANU PF  deputy secretary for commissariat  Shepherd Kararira who is also party Chairperson Kazembe Kazembe ally.

The war veterans claimed Kararira was spotted with marked ballots in Mount Darwin where he was trying to rig the election in favour of Kazembe's team.

"As war veterans we are not happy with Kararira who is using a party vehicle to manipulate votes on Tuesday he was spotted in Mount Darwin with marked ballots in a car he was given by Kazembe to campaign surely we are going to impound that car as war veterans we cannot watch such rot," fumed one war veteran who spoke in confidentiality.

War veterans Association chairperson Sam Parirenyatwa could neither confirm nor deny saying there are going to look into the matter.

"We heard the reports and as war veterans we are on the ground looking at the matter," Parirenyatwa said.

Mazowe and Bindura did not vote since their leadership said they are yet to complete cell registration.
