Welshman Ncube blows his top...denies calling for elective CCC Congress

CCC Vice President Professor Welshman Ncube is an angry man after a ZANU PF aligned Facebook page called EDhasmyhope wrote that he has urged his party to go for elections before the 2023 harmonised elections.

The page had written that: In an interview with Daily News, Professor Welshman Ncube has said the citizens coalition for change is the leading opposition party in Zimbabwe and should therefore go for an elective congress before the 2023 general elections to show how committed it is with the democratization of Zimbabwe.

The irate Ncube took to Twitter to dismiss the reports saying, "This is this week's instalment of the FAKE media stories about me. I was NEVER interviewed by the Daily News nor did I say the NONSENSE attributed to me. I note though the sheer determination of the embedded agents with this PATH. They are afraid. Very afraid!"

Opposition aligned activist Hopewell Chin'ono is on record advising CCC not to go for an elective Congress saying, "Genuine CCC supporters should focus on 2023 not on ZANUPF motivated calls for a congress."
