Zimbabwe urges nationals in UAE to remain calm and cautious

The Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in the United Arab Emirates has urged Zimbabwean nationals living in the UAE to remain calm and exercise caution following heightened regional tensions linked to clashes involving Iran, the United States and Israel.
In a statement, the Embassy said it was monitoring the situation and advised Zimbabweans to minimise non‑essential movements.
“In the wake of the current situation in the United Arab Emirates, the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe advises Zimbabwean nationals residing in the UAE to remain calm, exercise caution and minimise non‑essential movements,” the statement read.
The Embassy encouraged citizens to follow official safety guidelines issued by UAE authorities.
“Zimbabwean nationals are advised to continue following official safety guidelines and advisories being issued from time to time by authorities of the Government of the United Arab Emirates,” it said.
Those requiring urgent consular assistance were directed to contact the Embassy in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate in Dubai.
