RUTENDO "Madzimai" Makore powered Zimbabwe to victory when she scored all four goals that condemned Madagascar in the COSAFA Women's Championship at Barbourfields.
Cheered by Bulawayo fans, including school children and Cosafa president Phillip Chiyangwa, Makore was in her own classy as she showed the nation her goal scoring instincts.
"The whole of Zimbabwe was looking at me. I admit that I had a very disappointing first half in which I missed a lot of chances. I am excited for scoring the four goals.
"I am excited by being named Woman of The Match and I dedicate the victory to my coaches, my teammates and the Zimbabweans who supported me at Barbourfields and those who cheered me from home.
"It is my hope and wish to defend the cup for my country and I pray and hope that Almighty God is going to guide us in our quest," said Makore
